Common surface treatment processes for metal products include the following:

Anodizing: Mainly for aluminum and aluminum alloys, it generates an aluminum oxide film on the surface through electrochemical principles, enhancing protection, decoration, insulation, and wear resistance.

PVD vacuum coating: This is a technology that uses physical processes to deposit thin films. It is suitable for applying high-hardness and high-wear-resistant metal ceramic decorative layers on metal surfaces, providing a high-quality metallic appearance and high gloss.

Electroplating: It is a process of forming a metal film on the surface of a metal through electrolysis to prevent corrosion, enhance wear resistance, electrical conductivity, reflectivity and aesthetics.

Powder coating: Powder coatings are sprayed onto the surface of workpieces through electrostatic powder coating machines to form a powder coating layer. Then, after baking and curing, the final coating is formed. It features rich colors and low cost, and is suitable for architectural furniture products and heat sink shells, etc.

Brushing: It is a surface treatment method that forms lines on the product surface through grinding to achieve a decorative effect. It has a non-mirror metallic luster, eliminates minor flaws, and improves the quality of the workpiece.

Sandblasting: By shooting the blasting material at high speed through a jet beam onto the surface of the workpiece to be treated, it achieves different reflective or matte effects, removes tiny burrs, enhances the smoothness, and makes it elegant and attractive.

Polishing: By using flexible polishing tools, abrasive particles or other polishing media to modify the surface of the workpiece, it improves dimensional accuracy, geometric shape accuracy, surface smoothness or mirror-like luster.

Etching: Through steps such as exposure plate-making, development, and etching, a concave-convex or hollowed-out effect is formed, suitable for fine processing on metal surfaces and the application of special effects.

The above-mentioned metal surface treatment processes each have their own characteristics and are widely applied. By making appropriate choices and applications, the performance and aesthetic appeal of metal materials can be significantly enhanced.

Look forward to common development
